Susannah has over 35 years of lighting design experience and has been in charge of lighting design at AKF for close to 20 years. Susannah excels at problem solving and creative thinking. She believes that lighting is a collaboration of architecture, interior design, engineering and aesthetic vision.
Susannah holds a BFA in Lighting Design from Carnegie-Mellon University.

Colin Conroy MIES, LC
Colin has 15 years of Architectural Lighting Design on a wide array of well-known projects. His experience includes financial, corporate, site, recreation, commercial, residential, museum, educational, public space, and healthcare. His work includes international and domestic projects in the architectural, interior, and furniture design disciplines. He has become an integral part of Lightcraft, bringing his leadership skills, project management and design expertise to each new project to ensure a consistent and state-of-the-art work product.
Colin holds degrees in Software Engineering from Griffith College, Dublin, Ireland and Interior Design from FIT.

Rebecca has nearly 10 years of experience in architectural Lighting Design. Drawing from both her creative prowess and organizational talents, she is well known in the industry for her excellent communication and project management ability. She has experience on a wide range of projects including commercial, residential, corporate, educational, and healthcare. She is a mentor within Lightcraft and is a part-time Instructor and Guest Critic at Parsons, where her sustainable approach to projects has made her a star!
Rebecca was named one of the global 40 Under 40 in Lighting Design in 2019! She is so deserving and we are so proud!
Rebecca holds a MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons The New School for Design and an AB from Brown University.
LC, Assoc. IALD, LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, MIES
Shahrzad is well known for her outstanding design sensibility and attention to detail. Her creative and technical skills are unmatched. She was one of the first lighting designers to earn WELL Accreditation and teaches lighting design and drafting undergraduate and master level classes at Suffolk University and Boston Architectural College. She is a frequent speaker at multiple lighting and architectural conferences throughout the country. In March 2018, Shahrzad was named one of North America's top 40 lighting designers under 40 by Lighting Magazine.
Shahrzad holds an MFA in Interior Architectural from Suffolk University and a Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering from Azad University.
Mark Loeffler IALD, LEED Fellow, MIES
Mark has practiced lighting and sustainable design for more than 30 years. Originally a theatrical lighting designer, he shifted into architectural lighting, daylighting, and green design while finishing his graduate studies at Parsons School of Design. Advocating for joyful, invigorating, healthful, and sustainable design, he has consulted on notable academic, healthcare, research, corporate, institutional, and recreational buildings. He teaches and lectures widely for universities and professional conferences.
Mark holds a MFA in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design and a BA in Humanities/Contemporary Literature from the University of Texas at Austin.
Brigid joined Lightcraft after an internship at a boutique Interior Design firm focusing mainly on lighting design for the hospitality, entertainment and lifestyle market and her several years at a well-known manufacturer within their design/specification department. She has proven to be an asset with her quick study, great eye for detail and winning personality! She is a constant figure and great asset in the IESNY.
Brigid holds a BS in Architectural Technology from NY Institute of Technology and is currently completing her MS in Interior Lighting Design.
Melissa joined our team after realizing that lighting design was her calling! Her knowledge of Architecture and Interior Design gives Melissa the perfect platform to launch her new career! We are happy to help her and lucky to have her!
Melissa holds a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
Michelle is a Massachusetts native, who grew up on the beach of Cape Cod. She lived in both Boston and France before completing her BA in Art History at UMASS Amherst. As a student of Art History, Michelle gained an appreciation for the impact lighting has on our experience of objects of beauty. This fascination has since extended to her studio courses at the BAC, where she pays great attention to daylighting, as well as overhead elements within her projects. She is excited to join a design sector that is driven by technological advances as well as human comfort!
Michelle is currently completing her Master's of Interior Architecture at Boston Architectural College.
Julia has joined Lightcraft for a summer internship as she hones her skills and discovers new ones! Julia is currently working on her MFA in Interior Design and Lighting Design at Parsons, The New School and is expecting to graduate in May of 2020.
Julia holds a BA in Communication - Media Studies from Wheaton College.
